
Groove Networks shipped Groove Workspace version 2.1, a release featuring integration with Lotus Notes and enhanced instant messaging capabilities. Together with existing Microsoft Outlook integration, these enhancements allow business processes to evolve from email and Notes databases into Groove shared spaces.

FaceTime Communications and KVS announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership. As part of the agreement, KVS and FaceTime will integrate IM Auditor with KVS’ Enterprise Vault Archive to provide a solution for Microsoft-centric IT organizations that rely on Exchange 2000 IM and MSN .NET Messenger. Mail-Filters.com announced the availability of SpamCure, which utilizes Mail-Filters’ eleven-step spam detection process. SpamCure is compatible with Microsoft Exchange and SMTP based email servers such as those found on UNIX systems. It’s also compatible with client software including Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express, Netscape and Qualcomm Eudora.
