New software for email stats

Help Net Security reports that Kaspersky Labs and Red Earth Software announced a mutual partnership agreement paving the way for the implementation of Kaspersky Labs anti-virus scanner technology into email monitoring system of Red Earth’s program Policy Patrol.

New version of Bounced Emails Detective released

PersonalCRM Inc. announced the release of Bounced Emails Detective for Outlook V5.0. Specialized email scanning software analyzes a folder for bounced emails and then identifies the contact. The new Bounced Email Interface enables users to edit or remove contacts quickly and easily as well as to schedule tasks relative to the identified contact.

Fizzer worm spreading

Information Week reports that there’s a new worm beginning to spread in Asia and the United States. The Fizzer worm spreads through Kazaa and it also checks various instant-messaging systems, such as Internet Relay Chat and AOL AIM sites. The Fizzer worm mass-mails itself using addresses found in the Windows Address Book and Microsoft Outlook.
