
<p>By Katie HetrickPress & Guide Newspapers DEARBORN Dearborn Public School students are seeing less bullying, and more help when there is bullying, since the district started its anti-bullying initiative three years ago.</p><p>Posters, assemblies, staff training and other initiatives have been used to stress that bullying will not be tolerated, and to encourage students and staff to stick up for bullied students.</p><p>"It's become part of our culture," said Associate Supt. Gail Shenkman.</p><p>The number of elementary and middle school students who this fall reported they were bullied in the last year fell compared to two years ago. For elementary school, the number of bullying victims went from 52 percent to 30 percent while in middle school it declined from 27 percent to 19 percent.
