Derbyshire residents given info through police messaging service

<p>More than 20,000 people now receive information from Derbyshire police through the force's popular messaging system.</p><p>Derbyshire Alert Community Messaging now has 23,000 subscribers across the county.</p><p>Safer Neighbourhood policing teams have been out and about across the county, raising awareness of the free Derbyshire Alert messaging service and encouraging people to sign up.</p><p>Officers have been talking to the public about how they can benefit from the scheme by keeping up-to-date with policing issues in their community.</p><p><a href="http://www.chad.co.uk/news/local/derbyshire-residents-given-info-through-police-messaging-service-1-6302184">Keep reading...</a></p>
