<p>Maintenance work on Outlook.com's calendar application is now in its second week, and the lengthy, ongoing tune-up could be causing problems for users.</p><p>The maintenance began on Oct. 23, according to a note posted on Microsoft's Live Status dashboard, where people can check on the status of the company's consumer online services.</p><p>"You might see error messages when creating/editing birthdays. The checkbox to get notifications in the Options page may also be disabled during this time," the announcement says.</p><p>Asked for an update, a Microsoft spokesman confirmed on Wednesday that the work hasn't been finished.
