Oswego charity utilizes Facebook to match families in need with donors

<p>Oswego, NY -- There are less than 90 shopping days until Christmas, but for many families in Central New York, the holidays are a time of financial and emotional stress.</p><p>One Oswego County charity is trying to relieve that burden for families who can't afford to buy holiday gifts and food. Saving Families, founded and directed by Amy Clancy, utilizes a Facebook page to help match families in need with donors.</p><p>"I started planning for Christmas in July," Clancy said.</p><p>Clancy hopes to match up dozens of families with donors in the next couple months to ensure that families in CNY can have gifts and food for the holidays.</p><p><a href="http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2013/09/oswego_womans_charity_utalizes_facebook_to_match_families_in_need_to_donors.html">Keep reading...</a></p>
