<p>NEWARK A witness in the federal hacking trial of West New York Mayor Felix Roque and his son today testified that the younger Roque searched Google for instructions on how to hack email passwords and how to hack the web service used to host an anti-Roque website.</p><p>Felix and Joseph Roque are charged with conspiring to hack into a Hotmail email account in order to bring down the website www.recallroque.com, which was anonymously set up last year by Hudson County Freeholder Jose Munoz, a Roque foe.</p><p>The prosecution's first witness, FBI Special Agent Steven Newman, identified a Google search of "how to hack a Hotmail account" he said was made from Joseph Roque's computer a day before the pair allegedly brought the website down.</p><p>The special agent also noted other Google searches made from Joseph Roque's computer, including "how to hack a Hotmail password," and "how to hack a GoDaddy site." GoDaddy is the firm that hosted www.recallroque.com.
