NY Times And Microsoft Back Online After Service Outage

<p>PHILADELPHIA (CBS) Call it an Internet dead zone web giants The New York Times and Microsoft suffering serious issues Wednesday.</p><p>The New York Times gets more visitors than any other newspaper website in the country, but for a couple hours, Wednesday they got a blank page when clicking on nytimes.com, or using the mobile apps.</p><p>They're back up now. While the NYT says Chinese hackers have attacked them in the past, they blame this outage on a problem with a "scheduled maintenance update."</p><p>Microsoft now says its Hotmail and Outlook-based email accounts are back in business after some users couldn't access messages.
