
<p>Microsoft's vaunted Office software is now available on a subscription basis, an offering geared toward families with multiple computers who update their Word and Excel programs every few years.</p><p>Users can still own the software by purchasing licenses outright.</p><p>Buying or renting will depend largely on how many computers you have and how frequently you upgrade.</p><p>Office 365 Home Premium costs $100 a year if paid in full annually, or $10 a month.
