Gates downplays EU

Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates says his company's legal dispute with the European Union is <A HREF="http://news.zdnet.com/2100-3513_22-6034733.html?tag=zdnn.alert">relatively unimportant</A> in view of the company's overall strong relations with the 25-member bloc. "The fact that there is a legal issue--that's not the overall relationship. The overall relationship is fantastic. Today, this (dispute) is not very important," Gates said Thursday in an interview on private Polish television TVN 24 in remarks translated into Polish and retranslated by Reuters.
