Microsoft Vista beta released

Microsoft released the <A HREF="http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050727/ap_on_hi_te/microsoft_new_windows;_yl">first beta version</A> of the Windows Vista operating system. It was being delivered to more than 10,000 developers and others who will test the software and provide feedback.
