Local governments using CanIt to fight spam

Roaring Penguin announced that the Cities of Garden Grove and West Hollywood in California, and the Town of Davidson in North Carolina are fighting spam with <A HREF="http://www.canit.ca/evaluation.php">Roaring Penguin Software's CanIt</A> anti-spam solutions. CanIt is based on the MIMEDefang email inspection and manipulation software. It can be deployed in any enterprise enterprise email environment, including on all Linux and UNIX servers. As a stand-alone gateway appliance, it can protect email environments running non-UNIX servers, such as Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes and Novell Groupwise.
