Latitude partners with FaceTime

Instant Messaging Planet.com reports that FaceTime Communications will partner with Web and voice collaboration firm Latitude. Together, FaceTime and Latitude <A HREF="http://www.instantmessagingplanet.com/enterprise/article.php/3070311">will jointly develop an add-on</A> for Latitude's MeetingPlace enterprise conferencing solution. Having MeetingPlace on the enterprise network also gives IT staff the flexibility to link it to other enterprise applications, like Lotus Notes or Microsoft Outlook for advance scheduling of meeting -- or to FaceTime's enterprise IM gateway platform.
