New version of McAfee Virus Scan

McAfee Security Consumer unveiled a <A HREF="http://us.mcafee.com/root/package.asp?pkgid=100">new version of McAfee VirusScan</A>. The new version, now available on the company's Web site, has a number of new features including WormStopper technology. WormStopper automatically detects and alerts users when their systems are attempting to send email to an unusually large number of addresses and also alerts users when the system attempts to send out too many single emails within a 30-second period. McAfee VirusScan automatically scans both inbound and outbound email and attachments for viruses within the most popular email clients including Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape Mail, Eudora, Pegasus, and others.
