The Miami Herald has this story on viewing e-cards from FriendGreeting.com. According to The Herald, people are tricked because an email asks them to click on a link to view a virtual postcard they've received from FriendGreeting.com. That click begins to download software they supposedly need to view the e-card. Users are asked to accept a license agreement to open the application. Once a user clicks on "yes," the software is activated on their computers. It sends emails in the user's name to every contact in a Microsoft Outlook address book.
