Palm’s email server

The Boston Globe reports that Palm introduced an <A HREF="http://www.boston.com/dailyglobe2/267/business/Palm_pins_its_hopes_on_new_gadgets+.shtml">email server</A> that will deliver corporate information to its i705 and m500 series handhelds. Palm said the service, starting at $2,499, would be available Oct. 28 and would work with Microsoft Exchange and Windows, Sun's Solaris operating system, Lotus Domino, and IMAP (Internet message access protocol).
