Residents sign up for messaging service

<p>More than 10,000 residents across the region have signed up for Lancashire Police' 'In The Know' messaging system to receive regular updates on a range of topics.</p><p>'In The Know' allows specific messages to be sent to registered members based on their areas of interest, location and preferred means of communication, whether this is by text or email.</p><p>The system offers the ability for Police Officers and Police Staff to send updates to members of the public who have registered via the Lancashire Constabulary website http://www.lancashire.police.uk/intheknow.</p><p>Registration is quick, simple and completely free.</p><p><a href="http://www.lancasterguardian.co.uk/news/crime/residents-sign-up-for-messaging-service-1-6080304">Keep reading...</a></p>
