On my laptop, which runs Vista, when I scan a document, all I see is a scanned document and nothing more, which is great. My desktop runs Windows 7 and when I scan a document on it, the scanned document appears in "SkyDrive." What is SkyDrive and how do I get rid of it?</p><p>Sultan Tawwab, Port St. Lucie</p><p>A: SkyDrive is Windows' version of Google Drive, and, like that service, it offers cloud-based storage and sharing of documents, photos and more to users with Live Mail and Hotmail accounts. Like Google Drive's integration into Gmail, images viewed within the Livemail or Hotmail will first be viewed within SkyDrive and not be downloaded automatically to your computer.
