
<p>Control content in a SharePoint library by only allowing particular Word templates to be used. First, create your template and save it. Next, from the top level site settings in SharePoint, create a Custom Content Type. Select it and choose Advanced Settings. Connect your newly created template with your newly created Content Type by choosing upload. Now, from your Library, go to Library Settings, Advanced Settings and check Yes on Allow management of content types.</p><p>Back in settings, add the content type to the library.
