<p>Joy Mendez scrapbooking class will focus on preserving family or personal memories, travel adventures or as a memoir of a special friends or family members. She has worked in scrapbooking for over 14 years, has won several contests, and attends annual conventions to learn more about this craft. Students will learn how to create colorful layouts using paper, photos and embellishments with information on digital scrapbooking (computer-based) and hybrid forms which combine both methods in one hobby.</p><p>The Chiricahua Art Guild Gallery will sponsor a 'Spring Series' of art and craft workshops featuring intro charcoal drawing, beginning quilting, family scrapbooking,and three (3) intro calligraphy classes scheduled between, Tues., March 4thand concluding Wed., April 9th in locations in Rodeo., New Mex., andPortal, Ariz.</p><p>Cost for the 'Scrapbook' workshop will be $5 for Art Guild Gallery Members/Associate Members ($10. For Non-Members) Studentsare asked to bring scissors, their own photos for a project and a glue stick. Students are asked to pre-register by calling, 575.557.0417.
