BlackBerry 5 & 6 Finally Placed on End of Life List

<p>BlackBerry has finally put BlackBerry OS 5 and 6 on the end of life list. BBNews.pl spotted the OS versions on the end of life list which is no surprise since these devices have not been sold for two and four years respectively. BlackBerry OS 7.0 and 7.1 remain on the supported list in terms of software updates and support. Keep in mind we are not hearing any reports from BlackBerry 5 and 6 users that their devices have lost any BIS or BES functionality but who knows from now on out.</p><p>Also on the end of life list is Windows Live Messenger which will be discontinued on BlackBerry 10 and legacy devices starting in April.
