<p>The European SharePoint Connections conference is coming up soon with an added day of deep-dive workshops.</p><p>This year's conference includes sessions on Office 365 as well as in-depth coverage of SharePoint, Azure and other cloud technologies and take place in Amsterdam on November 19-20, with a full day of workshops on November 21.</p><p>The conference has over 40 sessions covering SharePoint, and the opening keynote will be given by Steve Fox, Director with the Microsoft Services group, and Donovan Follette, an Architect for the Microsoft Modern Apps Center of Excellence. The two will look at 'the modern app' in terms of how to design for the cloud and what this means for SharePoint.</p><p>The second keynote on 'Taking Office Beyond the Client with Office Web Apps Server' is being given by Mirjam van Olst and Spencer Harbar, looking at the new deployment model based on Office Web Apps Server used to provide browser-based file viewing and editing services for Office files.
