Jive’s autumn cloud release taps into Gmail, Google Drive

<p>Jive Software's autumn release is all about new social data and where to find it.</p><p>Announced amid JiveWorld 2013 in Las Vegas this week, many of the updates coming to the cloud-based social business platform focus on netting data from more familiar tech brands and pumping that information directly into Jive's products.</p><p>Following up an integration with Box earlier this year, Jive is paying similar attention to Google Drive and Gmail.</p><p>Users of both platforms will be able to sync up Jive with Drive for editing documents stored on Google's cloud locker while never having to leave Jive.
