<p>Over the last couple of months the rumors that have been surrounding the Nokia phablet that is reportedly coming to the market have been piling up and according to some online sources the device could be coming as soon as the next Windows Phone 8 software update. The Windows Phone GDR2 update is still very fresh, but it looks like Microsoft is already looking forward to the GDR3 update, which is reportedly in testing mode right now. One of the features is that users will be able to lock the orientation of their device's display.</p><p>A couple of the other features that are being outlined by the sources include a major change for the Windows Live Tiles, although the exact changes were not noted and the addition of the "driving mode option" for Windows Phone users as well. A user that has been proven correct about speculated features and more in the past, posted online giving users an idea of what they can expect when the GDR3 update arrives. The update will bring the support for 1080p HD displays, a good chance that users will have more options on the multi-tasking screen and the noise that Windows Phone devices make when connected via NFC will likely go away.</p><p>When asked to provide a source for the upcoming information about the Windows Phone software, the online user made it clear that he could not do that because "there wasn't one". That does not mean that what he says is not true, but until Microsoft makes a confirmation statement, it is all speculation regardless of the users premonitions. The update to GDR3 is expected to be one that can bridge the gap until the company is ready to release the next major update, which is called the "Windows Phone Blue" update.</p><p>In the end, the new update will support 1080p HD resolutions and that is perfect for the rumored Nokia phablet that has been lurking in the shadows. There is not a ton of information regarding the new phablet other than a leaked image that clearly shows the huge piece of glass that will cover the display.
