<p>Microsoft Office is far and away the market leader, but it's getting easier for people to use competing products.</p><p>This week has been a pile on for Microsoft Office, with assaults from Apple and Google. Office competitors from those companies are now easier for users to access from any device they choose. And they're likely much cheaper, putting the squeeze on Microsoft which needs to protect its Office cash cow.</p><p>With its roots in consumer search, Google has had some trouble adapting to the sales and support process that businesses expect.
