<p>Shirley Springer wrote that she has nearly 400 messages in her Outlook Express "Inbox" and asked if she can move them all to a USB flash drive.</p><p>Yes. Both Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail allow users to drag messages from their inbox (or any other OE/WLM folder) to another location. What you cannot do, however, is drag a folder full of messages only actual messages can be dragged.</p><p>Nonetheless, this limitation can be circumvented by first creating a new folder on the flash drive by right-clicking it and choosing New&gt;Folder, whereupon you can name it "Inbox." Then you drag the messages from the old inbox folder into the new one. The messages can be dragged all at once by clicking the first one, holding down your SHIFT key, and then clicking the last message.
