Microsoft Releases PST Import Tool Update for Microsoft Exchange Online

<p>Forever, it seems, Microsoft has extolled the virtues of Exchange stores (.ost's) versus local stores (.pst's). Many companies have fallen in line, also seeing the value of storing email and information online, particularly for backup and disaster recovery purposes.</p><p>Still, there are those users and companies that have held out, keeping numerous, local PSTs either as email archives or as simple, offline file storage.</p><p>To date, migrating PST content to the Exchange Server required multiple, manual steps, but Microsoft has just released an updated tool that improves the importing capabilities for offline email storage.</p><p>Microsoft Exchange PST Capture 2.0 adds the ability to import PST content into either Exchange Server (on-premises) or Exchange Online (in the Cloud).
