GMail for Android gets direct notification replies, other goodies

<p>Gmail users with mobile devices running Google's Android may expect new features like direct notification replies and archives in the newest Gmail app for Android.</p><p>A report on tech site The Next Web said the features that let users reply, archive and delete emails straight from their notifications will be available for Android 4.1 and 4.2</p><p>Even for those who have yet to upgrade to these versions of Android, the new app still offers other goodies like search improvements to allow faster searches, "whether you are looking for an email online or offline," the site said.</p><p>The app also has "better search suggestions," the report added.</p><p><a href="http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/story/300608/scitech/technology/gmail-for-android-gets-direct-notification-replies-other-goodies">Keep reading...</a></p>
