<p>Google on Wednesday announced a cool addition to Gmail that will have Google Calendar users rejoicing. When you receive an email with a calendar event in the standard .ics format, you can now add them directly to Google Calendar straight from the email.</p><p>Furthermore, the newly added event in Google Calendar includes a link back to the original email you received. This will make it easier to find where the event originated from if you ever need to double check.</p><p>Here's how the new feature looks (note the "Add to Google Calendar" button):</p><p>It's a rather minor change but a very useful one if you depend on both Gmail and Google Calendar.
