<p>(openPR) - The new version IXI-UMS 6.0 of serVonic's unified messaging server solution proves to be modern and future-proof, the innovations are aimed at the future developments and customer requirements in the fields of IP and ITK: Integration into Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, support of the IPv6 Standard and of the TLS Protocol, MWI-replacement, software released for SAP System Landscape Directory and improved Framework. IXI-UMS 6.0 is available from the second quarter of 2013.</p><p>Integration into Microsoft Exchange Server 2013Version 6.0 of serVonic's IXI-UMS Unified Messaging Server solution as always is seamlessly integrated into the respective Microsoft messaging system via the new IXI-UMS Exchange 2013 Connector. serVonic's solution can be deployed according to the requirements, either as full UM-solution with Fax, Voice, SMS and Mobile or as add-on to Microsoft's unified messaging: Voice is available, IXI-UMS adds the lacking UM-features Fax and SMS. The administrator administers the IXI-UMS users directly in the environments provided by Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Administrator Center.IPv6 and TLSWith IXI-UMS 6.0, serVonic supports the IPv6 Standard defined by the IETF, which is going to replace the common IPv4 Standard in the next few years. A company that deploys serVonic's UM-solution can make use of the UM-features as usual with IPv6, too.IXI-UMS now supports the encryption program TLS Transport Layer Security: As a result, the unified messaging solution cannot only be integrated into the security concept of the company as usual, but also support the mechanisms that are based on TLS.</p><p>MWI VariantWith the new variant of the feature "MWI - Message Waiting Indication", serVonic accommodates a requirement frequently expressed by customers: When a company deploys a PBX that does not support MWI, the employees nevertheless can see new messages in their e-mail inbox at the display of their telephone. So far this could only be realized with a PBX that enables MWI.</p><p>Released for SAP System Landscape DirectoryThe IXI-UMS Connector for use with SAP R/3 in the new version of serVonic's unified messaging server solution is released for the SAP System Landscape Directory. The administrators so get a brief overview, which solutions from which provider are connected to the SAP-system.
