<A target="_blank" href="http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/06/09/mcafee_update_snafu/">The recent service pack for McAfee's</A> corporate Virus scanning product, VSE 8.7, was pulled on June 2 after reports of problems. The update apparently deletes some Windows system files leaving machines unable to boot.
