
Microsoft has released a patch that addresses <A HREF="http://www.cnn.com/2002/TECH/internet/05/17/ms.security.holes.idg/index.html">six security vulnerabilities</A> in Internet Explorer. According to this article from CNN, the patch also disables frames in the Restricted Sites zone. This means that recently released Microsoft email clients will disable frames in HTML email by default. The change was made to eliminate the possibility of an HTML email automatically opening a new window or launching the download of an executable.
