<p>Lupin Limited recently deployed Microsoft Office 365 to simplifyemployee communication, gain business insights and shareexperiences across its offices in four continents. By providing thelatest capabilities of Office 365, Lupin has enabled its 11,000employees to communicate more effectively and efficiently whilealso reducing total costs by around 40 percent over a 3 year timeperiod.</p><p>With operations spanning four continents, recent acquisitions inEurope, Asia Pacific, and Latin America and its pharmaceuticalproducts reaching over 100 countries, the growth of Lupin has beenexponential. The ability to communicate effectively acrosslocations amongst its 11,000 employee base was critical to thecompany. Lupin used multiple legacy systems for messaging andcommunication across different geographies, but as business grewrapidly, the company found its needs had exceeded the existingsolution's capabilities.</p><p>The company evaluated cloud services from leading serviceproviders with the intention of moving to one standard, globalsolution to help employees better communicate within the company.The decision was eventually made in favor of Microsoft Office365.</p><p>"Office 365 creates a more productive mobile workforce byproviding employees access to e-mails, documents, contacts, andcalendars - using a variety of devices from virtually any location.The first wave of our global rollout of Office 365 has successfullybeen able to unify our geographically diverse workforce providingthem with the access they need anytime and anywhere, with toolsthat they are already familiar with.
