<p>4:10 p.m.: Microsoft issued a statement on today's NSA reporting to tech blog The Verge.</p><p>"To be clear, Microsoft does not provide any government with blanket or direct access to SkyDrive, Outlook.com, Skype or any Microsoft product," it reads in part.Earlier: Tech company Microsoft helped the National Security Agencydevelop methods to gain access to its customer data, including chats, e-mails,and video and audio chats on Skype, theGuardian revealed Thursday.</p><p>Documents leaked by Edward Snowden show that NSA previouslyhad access to Hotmail e-mails and other e-mails on the company's Outlook.comwebsite.
