<p>Batman: Arkham City has become the next game to be liberated from the shackles of Games For Windows Live.</p><p>Like BioShock 2 the game has been patched to support Steam as a replacement for Microsoft's outgoing PC gaming platform but unlike BioShock 2, Batman players will lose their saved because they are stored on the GFWL servers.</p><p>Anyone who bought the game on Steam will receive an automatic update.
