<p>Merging the old fashioned Hotmail over to Outlook was started last month by Microsoft. Unfortunately it didn't go quite as smoothly as people had been hoping for and on Twitter a number of users have been discussing how much downtime there is, which has now gone up to three hours. The idea around the migration was to be slow at the beginning and the move would be optional.</p><p>To have to wait three hours till you can access your emails is a very long time. Things appeared very bleak when we had a look at the Outlook status website. They weren't saying that it was total disconnection, however it also affected SkyDrive and Outlook.</p><p>Apparently Outlook and Hotmail were experiencing problems with being able to display all emails. The problem with SkyDrive was issues with file editing. You need to remember for these programs those features are very crucial. The status website showed us that a problem with Calendar had now been fixed and was apparently something to do with maintenance.</p><p>Obviously opinions vary between different people, however it does appear that all of the Microsoft cloud products have not been behaving in the way that you would want them to.
